My Story

I’m thrilled you’re here because we’re a lot alike, you and I. We are both trying to live a life that is joyful and vibrant; a life that is fulfilling and allows us to be the best version of ourselves.

Sounds easy, right? Doesn’t everyone live like that? I can say that I’ve finally gotten “there”, but it’s taken me years and a good amount of introspection. I woke up one day, and thought, “What happened to me? Who is this person staring back at me in the mirror?! I’m fat, tired, and my body feels like I’ve been hit by a Mack truck…”

So I did what any disgusted, frustrated Type-A personality would do, and started to dig deep to figure out what was really going on in this 40 year old body. Why did I feel like this? I was getting nowhere in the medical community. I went from doctor to doctor in search of an answer, but I was met with the prescription pad every time. It was really frustrating because I still didn’t know what was wrong with me, AND I knew there was a better way than just taking drugs.

Now, I have always been physically active, and over the years, I have also gained quite a bit of knowledge in nutrition and supplementation. Because of my background, I knew where I needed to start. Nothing else in my life was going to get better unless I addressed: 1) what I was feeding my body 2) how I was managing the stress and unhappiness in my daily life and 3) if I was moving my body enough.

Let me ask you this. Have you ever felt:

  • Frustrated because you’ve put on that extra 10, 20, 30 pounds around your middle?
  • Depressed, anxious, irritable?
  • Lethargic, unmotivated, can’t sleep?
  • Bloated or constipated

I decided I wanted more, so I embarked on a journey to change my mediocre, mid-life existence to one that makes me feel fantastic when I look at myself in the mirror now!

I am passionate about empowering women to live vibrant and juicy lives and to feel fierce in their skin again by integrating whole foods nutrition with a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.


My Official Bio

As you can probably tell by now, my approach is about sharing simple, effective ways to lose weight. I won’t require you to count calories or spend hours in the kitchen. Though food prep is essential, I’ll share time-saving tips and quick meal ideas.

Ask anyone who knows me… I *love* good food, so you can bet that I’ll be sharing recipes and meal ideas you’ll love (including desserts!).

Life is to be lived! I always tell my clients everything in moderation, but you will soon discover that when your body is fueled by the RIGHT foods, the weight will naturally release, you will have more energy, you will be able to manage hormonal issues that come with the age of 40… and you will feel better than ever.

My training and credentials: I attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City and I’m a Certified Holistic Health Coach, CHHC.
